June 24 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

This class will cover both the insurance necessities for government contractors and bonding necessities for government construction contractors.

INSURANCE NECESSITIES FOR GOVERNMENT CONTRACTORS

Work with the government? You may need adjustments to your business insurance and risk management program, not only for compliance, but also for adequate risk mitigation. Compliance is hard. Insurance doesn’t have to be. In this presentation we will look at the FAR’s insurance requirements compared to a solid company risk management program including nuance coverage’s only required by government contractors.

BONDING NECESSITIES FOR GOVERNMENT CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS

Build things for the government? You’ll be required to provide a surety bond. In this presentation we’ll go from the basics of what a construction bond is and how to procure one, to some deeper discussions of how to improve on an existing bonding program to bond larger jobs more frequently, as well as keys to gaining and maintaining the bonding you need to succeed in government construction contracting.
