SBIR/STTR 101: Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs provide over $3 billion in funding to small businesses each year in a wide variety of technology areas.

The SBIR program encourages domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) that has the potential for commercialization. The STTR is a program that expands funding opportunities in the federal innovation research and development (R&D) arena.

Special Guest Speaker, Mike Anderson with ReliAscent, Inc., will introduce what you need to know about the SBIR/STTR programs.:

  • Where the program came from 
  • Why it was started
  • What Government Agencies participate in the program
  • What are the differences in each of the Federal Agency programs. 

Time will be given to network with other firms and the Presenter.
