The CO PTAC and the Pikes Peak Chapter of NCMA will be teaming up to co-host a training conference on MAR 26th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, live via webinar!
The half-day conference will consist of three panel discussions, each offered during three sessions. Each panel will contain subject matter experts in the field that will discuss current issues, trends, and your specific questions. These panels include:
Cybersecurity: Current implementation of NIST cyber security requirements in Federal Acquisition; emerging best practices, and practical tips for implementing a compliant cyber security program.
Small Business: Changes to legislation and regulations affecting small businesses; transition to the “All-Small” Mentor-Protege program; and changes to small disadvantaged business certifications.
Emerging Topics in Procurement: Discussion of presentations from the 2018 Nash & Cibinic Round-table. Presentations include incentive contracting; reforming the procurement process; other transactions; IDIQ contracting; rethinking the procurement of services; and a report from the Section 813 Technical Data Panel.
Subject matter experts from Colorado business advisers will also be available for one-on-one discussions during the training conference, including procurement law, human resources, cyber security, and proposal development.
