This course gives the student an overview of cybersecurity and its value in the 21st century. It will define concepts and terms used in cybersecurity in general, and those based on the NIST cybersecurity framework. The different US government regulations for cybersecurity will be introduced including NIST 800-53 and 800-171, FIPS 199 and 200, and CMMC. FISMA and FedRAMP compliance will be introduced. This course will give you the knowledge and understanding needed to address cybersecurity issues facing your business. This class will also help the student understand 17 Domains needed to be addressed in the CMMC.
