EXPERT: Part I: Business Operational Security: Social Engineering (Lunch and Learn) (Aurora)

July 30 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Free

As a government contractor, you need to protect your network. Government contractors must be aware of what “Social Engineering” means to your firm’s security systems. Is your firm knowledgeable about an attack, or know how to prevent data breaches to sensitive information and defend it’s organizational vulnerabilities? Corvus Technologies’ Principal Owner/Subcontracts Manager, Coryn Mann, with Eric Mann, Co-Owner/Principal Security Consultant, will impart wisdom for how your firm can defend against social engineering deceptions that threaten organizational security.

Topics Covered:
• Why focus on Social Engineering
• What is Social Engineering
• Social Engineering Psychological Principles
• Social Engineering Information Gathering
• Social Engineering Attack Vectors
• Defense Against the Dark Arts
• How to Harden Your Organization

This is a Lunch AND Learn, so bring your own “brown bag” lunch. A 15-minute networking break to connect with the speakers and other government contractors is scheduled and encouraged. This is an interactive session so you can leave with an improved understanding and practical tips for implementation.

Please pre-register so we can notify you due to speaker changes, weather cancellations, etc. Aurora follows the same school closings as the Public School or Arapahoe Government Offices. We also appreciate 24-hour notice if you need to cancel.
