The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is a non-regulatory government agency that develops technology, metrics, and standards to drive innovation and economic competitiveness at U.S.-based organizations in the science and technology industry.
NIST Special Publication 800-171, governs Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in Non-Federal Information Systems and Organizations. Compliance helps the federal government to perform its designated missions and business operations successfully.
CMMC is a unified Cybersecurity Standard for Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisitions to designed to ensure that cybersecurity controls and processes adequately protect CUI that resides on Defense Industrial Base (DIB) systems and networks.
As a government contractor you need to protect your network and that of any Prime Government Contractors. This course will prepare your firm, whether as the Prime or the Subcontractor, for NIST SP 800-171 Compliance and the CMMC Certification.

SCAMS & FRAUD
As cyber criminals increasingly target people and focus on the human factor to activate their nefarious campaigns, employees find themselves in the line of fire.
With 90% of attacks using email as the threat vector, it is critical that organizations work to raise cyber security awareness and change human behavior in relations to protecting against phishing and malware scams. Criminals know the easiest way to access networks or steal data to target people who already have access and steal their login credentials and other critical information.
By bringing cyber security awareness and training to all your employees, you heighten the chances of catching a scam or attack before it is fully enacted, minimizing damage to your brand and
reducing the cost of recovery.
