Appropriations Law Webinar or “The Color of Money”
February 23, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 amNo Fee
Even before the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) rules and regulations are applied to an agency that is planning a procurement, one of the most powerful set of rules that come into play are the rules and decisions effected by Appropriations Law. What does Congress intend for the Executive agencies to do with the money they – Congress, as the holders of the purse, provide to the agencies to spend those tax dollars on? And how does Congress manage and control those dollars? For those PTAC clients who ready for the next level of training, this webinar will be focused on the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Principles of Federal Appropriations Law (the Red Book). You will learn about the availability, purpose, amount and time restrictions of federally appropriated funds and how agencies work to avoid the Anti-Deficiency Act violations. Seminar will be approximately 1 ½ hour in duration.
