The procurement counselor will work with clients to enhance their understanding of the government procurement process and increase the client’s chance of winning contracts. The right candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in roles of increased responsibility. Knowledge of the FAR as well as state and local government procurement rules is a must. This candidate must be able to work a diverse workload and exercise their creative skills. A bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or other applicable skill set is required. Data Management Technician
We are looking for a self-sufficient, optimistic individual with a “Can Do” attitude to be the face of our operation. As our Data Management Technician, you must be adept in using standard computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), as well as having strong skills in internet research.
Main duties of the Data Management Technician include the following:
- Routine data entry and maintenance in our client management system;
- Generating reports from various sources of data;
- Using the internet to extract data about Colorado businesses;
- Researching government websites for various procurement information;
- Working with Excel files manipulating data;
- Monitoring Bid/Match Program selected by employer;
- Manage company’s “info” email account and route client communications to the appropriate professional staff;
- Answer telephone and route calls accordingly;
- Provide basic information to prospective clients as needed;
- General office administrative support duties (i.e. filing, copying, faxing, mail distribution, etc.); and
- Other duties as assigned
A college degree is not required; however, it is preferred. Demonstrated professional office and/or computer experience is required. Previous experience with procurement and government defense contracting preferred and encouraged! We work with sensitive client information so this position is subject to and contingent on drug screening and background checks.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. Pay is dependent upon experience and background; however, we anticipate an hourly rate of $13 – $16 to start. Paid time off, holiday pay and benefits are available. We hope to fill this position by 15 Sept, 2018. This position is dependent upon government funding which is provided on an annual basis.

Colorado PTAC has a great opportunity for a creative, dedicated individual. We are actively looking to hire an Outreach Coordinator who would manage our online and written media. A good candidate will be skilled and well versed in all forms of online media such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, etc. Knowledge of WordPress is a mandatory requirement. Knowledge of multi-media marketing techniques is a definite plus. Our online reputation is important to us so attention to detail and proper use of English in all postings is required. This is a part-time position with a very flexible schedule. While some office time is required the position allows for some telecommuting.
